Spherical Bearings Without Cage

HBL manufactures spherical bearings of GE series which are radial spherical plain bearings (also called “spherical bushings” or “spherical bearings without rollers”), which are sliding contact bearings used to support radial and combined loads while allowing angular misalignment. They consist of an inner ring with a convex spherical outer surface and an outer ring with a concave spherical inner surface, forming a self-aligning spherical joint. Widely used in construction machinery, agricultural equipment, cranes, steering systems, and linkages where oscillating motion and misalignment are present.

Key features :

  • Designed to handle radial loads and moderate axial loads, plus misalignment (typically 2°–10°, depending on size and design)
  • Suitable for low-to-medium speed, high-load applications where rolling bearings would be too sensitive to contamination or misalignment.
